HOW IS ELLANSE M ADMINISTERED TO THE HUMAN BODY

By varying the length of the polymer chain, the desired temporal durability and efficacy can be achieved. The silky texture can be optimally injected to create a soft implant with immediate and long-term effects. The microparticles have a smooth surface and a round shape for optimal biocompatibility. ELLANSÈ is based on polycaprolactone (PLC), a soft, fully resorbable polymer.
PLC has been used in medical applications for decades. Like the viscosifier carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) used in this formulation, it is safe: PCL microparticles promote new collagen formation and form a long-term stable tissue scaffold. Elimination occurs through normal metabolism. It is ideal for contouring, shaping, correcting fine lines and wrinkles, and building volume.
