                Juvederm Ultra 4 is a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal filler that is used to smooth the skin by filling in skin depressions. It's used to smooth out wrinkles, especially around the lips and nose. In the United States, Juvederm Ultra 4 is also known as Juvederm Ultra Plus XC.

Juvederm Ultra is the only hyaluronic acid filler family approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and folds for up to a year.

Allergan Laboratories' Juvéderm Ultra 4 is a filler product from the Juvéderm Ultra line. This line offers a variety of gels that combat aging by restoring skin volume.

This substance is quite helpful in treating wrinkles and other facial defects, and it is a wonderful alternative to surgery.

Juvéderm Ultra 4 is made in Haute Savoie and incorporates the unique HYLACROSS ® technology as well as the 3D Matrix technology.

Juvéderm Ultra 4 has a soft consistency that makes it a comfortable treatment.

Juvéderm Ultra 4 gel has the following characteristics:

COMPOSITION

Hyaluronic acid gel 24 mg/ml (24% concentration)

Lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg/ml (0.3% Lidocaine)

Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s.p. 1 ml

It is supplied with 4 needles 27G1/2 and two pre-filled syringes of 1ml

TARGETED AREAS

Juvéderm Ultra 4 is used on moderate facial wrinkles, in particular

- Deep nasolabial folds

- The valley of tears

- Cheekbones

- Chin augmentation

Amount: 2*1ml

Usage:  Filling in skin depressions to smooth the skin. It's used to smooth out wrinkles, especially around the lips and nose. Juvederm Ultra 4 should be injected deep into your patient's skin with a 27G needle to address deep wrinkles, smooth nasolabial folds, fill in cheeks and other hollow areas of the face, shape your patient's chin and face, and some doctors even use Juvederm Ultra 4 to plump up lips.

Contraindications

Do not use on infected or inflamed parts of the skin.

Avoid locations where permanent fillers have been used.

If you have a hypersensitivity reaction to hyaluronic acid, have a medical history of autoimmune illnesses, or have a history of persistent streptococcal infection, don't use it.

Minors, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and persons with skin inflammation or an allergy history should not use this product.
